WBBL 2024: Brisbane Heat kicked off the new WBBL 2024 season with a win over last year’s champions, Adelaide Strikers. The Heat won by four wickets. The lack of consistent scoring and early pressure from Brisbane’s bowlers left the Strikers playing catch-up throughout the match, ultimately leading to their defeat in the season opener.
