Bajrang Punia, an Olympic medal-winning wrestler, is not listed among the suspended athletes by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA). Recently, he joined the Congress party, but he was included in an earlier suspension list. NADA had suspended him on June 23 after he refused to provide a urine sample during selection trials in Sonipat on March 10.

In addition, the global governing body for wrestling, United World Wrestling (UWW), also suspended him. Bajrang appealed against this temporary suspension, and the Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel (ADDP) canceled it on May 31, pending further action from NADA regarding the charges. This situation has generated significant attention in the sports community, as Bajrang is a prominent athlete. He hopes to resolve these issues quickly so he can focus on his training and competitions. The outcome will be crucial for his career moving forward.
