Once he departed, Virat Kohli took over, calmly steering the chase and finishing unbeaten. His knock brought up his 100th IPL half-century — a milestone moment for the legendary batter. Devdutt Padikkal played the perfect support role as RCB reached the target with 15 balls to spare.
Earlier, RR posted a respectable 173/4, largely thanks to Yashasvi Jaiswal’s classy 75 from 47 deliveries. But their bowling lacked bite on a flat Jaipur track, as RCB made light work of the chase.
The game marked RR’s return to their home turf after playing earlier matches in Guwahati. Despite the homecoming, the Royals were outplayed in all departments.
