- Final (May 25) → Kolkata (Eden Gardens)
Exciting Start to the Season
The tournament will begin with a high-octane clash between KKR and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on March 22.
Fans can also look forward to a blockbuster double-header on March 23:
- Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals (Afternoon)
- Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians (Evening)
The CSK vs MI clash is one of the biggest rivalries in IPL history, with both teams boasting five titles each.

The IPL 2025 season will span 74 matches over 65 days, featuring 12 double-headers.
A total of 13 venues have been listed, including the primary home grounds of all 10 teams, along with three additional locations:

Punjab Kings will have the unique advantage of playing three consecutive home matches in Dharamsala from May 4 to 11.
Group Structure & Key Fixtures
As in previous seasons, teams have been split into two groups:
Group Structure

✅ Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) | ✅ Delhi Capitals (DC) |
✅ Rajasthan Royals (RR) | ✅ Gujarat Titans (GT) |

Each team will play:

Teams to Watch
- Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB): After a stunning comeback in IPL 2024, where they won six straight matches to make the playoffs, RCB will look to start strong this year. They will play four of their last six matches at home at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
- Punjab Kings: The only team with a three-match home stretch, which could be a game-changer for their campaign.
- Delhi Capitals: With home games in Delhi and Visakhapatnam, the team will need to adapt quickly to multiple conditions.
