The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a ₹58 crore cash prize for Team India after their dominant run in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Led by Rohit Sharma, the Men in Blue remained unbeaten and clinched the title with a entertaining four-wicket win over New Zealand in the final.
BCCI’s Grand Gesture
BCCI President Roger Binny hailed the team’s efforts, calling it a showcase of India’s cricketing excellence. The reward will be shared among the players, coaching staff, support staff, and the Men’s Selection Committee.
“This victory reflects years of hard work and strategic execution. India’s dominance in world cricket is stronger than ever,” said BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia.

BCCI’s History of Rewarding Excellence
This isn’t the first time BCCI has recognized India’s success on the global stage. After India’s T20 World Cup win in Barbados last year, the board announced an even bigger cash prize of ₹125 crore. That reward was nearly three times what the 2011 ODI World Cup-winning squad received under MS Dhoni.
With another ICC trophy in the bag, India has once again cemented its place as a cricketing powerhouse, and the BCCI’s generous reward highlights the value of their achievement.
