ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Anthem: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially launched the anthem “Jeeto Baazi Khel Ke” for the upcoming Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. Featuring the vocal of celebrated singer Atif Aslam and the musicals of producer Abdullah Siddiqui, this anthem arrives just 12 days before the tournament begins. Spanning from February 19 to March 9, the competition will be held in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

A Cultural Tribute

The anthem, penned by lyricists Adnan Dhool and Asfandyar Asad, encapsulates the vibrant essence of Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage. Accompanied by a visually captivating music video, the song takes viewers through bustling streets, colorful marketplaces, and historic cricket stadiums, reflecting the nation’s deep-rooted passion for the sport.

Atif Aslam, expressing his excitement over the collaboration, shared, “I am very fond of cricket and always wanted to be a fast bowler.” He fondly recalled the thrill of watching matches, particularly India-Pakistan encounters, highlighting their unmatched emotional intensity.

Defending Champions and Tournament Details

Pakistan enters the tournament as defending champions, having secured their first-ever Champions Trophy title in 2017 with a dominant victory over India in the final at The Oval, London. Led by then-captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, Pakistan posted a formidable 338/4, powered by Fakhar Zaman’s century. The bowling attack, spearheaded by Mohammad Amir and Hasan Ali, dismantled India’s batting lineup, securing a historic win.

Pakistan will commence their 2025 campaign against New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi. However, their preparations will begin earlier, with a tri-series against South Africa and New Zealand starting February 9.

The Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 is poised to be a thrilling spectacle, featuring eight top-ranked teams competing in 15 matches over 19 days. The teams are divided into two groups:
