KKR VS SRH IPL 2025: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) dominated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 80 runs in their IPL 2025 clash, with the star trio of Venkatesh Iyer, Vaibhav Arora, and Varun Chakaravarthy leading the way.
Batting first, KKR posted a formidable total of 200/6. Venkatesh Iyer set the tone with a blistering 60 off 29 balls, while Angkrish Raghuvanshi supported with 50 off 32 balls. Despite early wickets, Ajinkya Rahane (38) and Rinku Singh (32*) added crucial runs, with Iyer and Rinku blasting 78 runs in the final five overs.
In reply, SRH’s chase fell apart quickly. Arora ripped through the top order, reducing them to 9/3 within the first three overs. Heinrich Klaasen’s 33 was the only bright spot as SRH were bowled out for just 120 in 16.4 overs. Arora (3/29) and Chakaravarthy (3/22) were exceptional with the ball, taking crucial wickets and sealing the win for KKR.
The win lifts KKR to fifth place, while SRH slumps to the bottom of the table.
