After the clean sweep of 2-0 against Bangladesh, Indian team fielding coach T. Dilip selected the Impact Fielder of the Series on Tuesday. He nominated four players from the Indian team for this award: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Mohammad Siraj. The winners of this award were revealed in a video released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday.

Fielding coach T. Dilip praised the Indian players after their strong performances across all departments during the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The Indian team excelled in fielding, bowling, and batting, which led Dilip to commend their efforts. He selected four contenders for the Impact Player of the Series while appreciating the players’ contributions in the dressing room. During this, Dilip particularly praised Rohit Sharma’s catch taken at mid-off, stating that in terms of catching, the “Hitman” is as reliable as a “Swiss watch.”
